This display, crafted from reclaimed white oak, makes provisions for a Party-form
dagger with a vertical hanger by offsetting the crossmember:
This display features not one, not two, but three pieces representing the full complement of Wehrmacht dress daggers, those of the Heer (Army), Kriegsmarine (Navy), and Luftwaffe (Air Force) complete with a full array of accouterments – hangers, portepees, and – in the case of the Army dagger, even a belt loop. The paper sign in the background is a period advertisement from the firm of Weyersberg, Kirschbaum, &; Cie (abbreviated as “WKC”), the firm who produced all three of the examples shown.

Mantel Clock Style Cases
This term refers to my basic, standard production edged weapon displays. They are offered in your choice of wood and/or finish, can accommodate virtually any edged weapon (while they are particularly well suited to Third Reich dress daggers, they can be adapted to other edged weapons from virtually any era or country). In addition, they may be configured to sit on a shelf or table or to hang on a wall and can customized with a variety of options like Iron Cross ribbon inlays, badge loops, colored backings, and laser etched graphics.

Here are two photos of the front and back of one I did in bird’s-eye maple for a 2 nd Model Luftwaffe dagger, complete with hangers, knot, the original bag it came in on one side
Luftwaffe pilot’s badge along with an autographed photo of the original owner a pilot who was awarded the prestigious Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross. The case is constructed of some pretty impressive zebrawood and features the Knight’s Cross ‘ribbon’ inlay in the base.

Here’s a different take on the mantel clock case look…another one for two party-
form daggers (both 1933 SAs) that the customer wanted to display horizontally. Note
the laser-etched SA runes and motto “Alles für Deutschland” on the bottom of the case:

The following two displays each feature a selection of three World War Two Japanese daggers. The period document and watercolor add a nice touch to both cases!
This display also makes use of a modified crossmember to accommodate the
chain hanger on a 1936 Model SS dagger. Note the squared, fluted sides, the loop for
an SA Sports Badge and the wooden backing…
